Jon, has experience, he is a Former MLA (provincial) & ALDERMAN WARD 8 in Calgary; he gets things DONE and Cares about the Community; He is a STRONG SUPPPORTER OF MUSIC & THE ARTS, EDUCATION, The FILM & TELEVISION Industry ; he cares about our SENIORS & KIDS and CREATING SAFE, THRIVING, STRONG COMMUNITIES. And he also wants to keep CITY COUNCIL in CHECK that RESIDENTIAL TAXES & PROPERTY TAXES stay where they are & DO NOT INCREASE & GET even LOWER!!! 30 years in Business -- Jon is also the owner of Casablanca Video in Marda Loop. And he had a BIG PART in making MARDA LOOP the WONDERFUL COMMUNITY that it is today when he was ALDERMAN. He wants to HELP make CALGARY CURRIE a more WONDERFUL PLACE to live!! THE VOTE is TOMORROW SATURDAY JAN. 28th at KILLARNEY GLENGARRY COMMUNITY HALL ( 2828 28th Street S.W.) from 12p.m. to 4p.m. PLEASE Bring 2 pieces of I.D. proving your address ( Driver's License and a House Bill with address on it) and membership CARD. Can buy the CARD there as welll ( $5.00)
